Rome 64 A.D. Picture this...
Paul thown in house arrest and not the stockades because he was a Roman citizen. His guard was chained to him at all times. His house, very small. The world around him still kept going on. The Carpenters still made children's toys and furniture, the metal shop forged iron and metals for beautiful or not so beautiful things. The food shop, contained rat and mice cooked just the way you like it. The people, some were against this Jesus and some loved Jesus. Some had to go into the underground church and hide to worship the one true God. Those that knew Jesus would come together and pray and sing His praises. They would gather as families and talk about Jesus. The whole Rome was in arms about all that was happening.
