AWANA NOW!

Dear Awana Parents!
Can you believe we are almost done with this year!? WOW! It has gone so very fast, like a Speeding Train!

Many things on the horizon for you to ponder in your heart.

1. Awards Night – will your child be rewarded for their perseverance this year? Have they completed one or more books? Puggles – T&T will be honored in one way or another at our Annual Awards Ceremony. Calendar this date: April 29th 6-8 p.m.

We will be taking up two offerings this night

o One will be for Faith Westwood as a Thank offering for allowing us to use their space.

o One will be for scholarships to allow children who can not afford to attend Awana on their own.

Please pray about what God will have you give and lead with your heart.

2. We are off for Millard Spring Break – April 8th.

3. Store Night – Last club night too – is April 22nd.

4. Vacation Bible School June 7th - 12th– until April 30 the cost is $14 per child or $25 per family. M-F 9-12 or Sun – Thurs 6-8:30 p.m. If this is something you would like your children to be apart of and can not afford it, we do have a lower fee if you are willing to work. Please let Janette know, 895-3366. The price does go up to $20 per child or $45 per family May 1st. We are heading to the underground church in 65 A.D. The Apostle Paul will be visiting us during this week too! Your children will have a great time. If they are 5th grade or older and Janette knows them, they can work in VBS.

5. Camping Retreat – June 26-28 – For the whole family! Cost: $20 for the whole weekend to camp! Look below for more information!

6. Please consider where God would have you serve in Awana next year. Maybe He desires your heart to just listen, or maybe to take a Bible study class similar to Awana 101. Maybe it’s to help with just check in or maybe to put tables up. Maybe it’s to give a child a ride that wouldn’t have one. Maybe it’s sharing the benefits you see in your own child to another parent who desires to have their child know, love, and serve Jesus through Awana. Maybe he would have you become a leader next year?! Wherever He desires your heart, you will soon follow and stay.

7. Next fall, we will host our first ever Awana Grand Prix. It is a pinewood derby car race for kids ages Puggles – T&T. The Puggles and Cubbies will use match box cars and Sparks and T&T will build their cars. We will set the date later. The cost: about $7 per car.

Thank you for making our year Fantastic by sharing your children with us! St. Paul’s Awana

Awana Games and Russian Awana Club

We have decided to not participate in the Awana Games this year. Our numbers are very low for participation due to Spring Break. For Sparks Games, we had 4 girls and 2 boys signed up and needed 16. For T&T, we had 5 girls and 5 boys signed up. For each we needed 16. We could play with another church but from a coaching perspective, this is a difficult task. Eric and I talked and it was a difficult decision to come to on Friday the 13th of March. If you have signed up and have paid, I will pay you back on Wednesday. Last year, we had a full team and more waiting to come. Our prayer is next year, it will be scheduled when we don't have Spring Break.

Awana is off on April 8th.

This is the link to our Russian Awana Club that we adopted last year, we need your help to finish raising the money for the club this next week. We are just $90 short of our expected giving. Can you help?

Awards night

Awards night is coming up. Your child really needs your help to succeed in getting their verses learned! The leaders have them for 40 min. a week, that's not enough time to really sink these verses in. So, please help them!
